I am an Executive Chef with an award-winning culinary presence and a vast amount of wine knowledge. I was named “Best New Chef” (Baltimore Sun) and “Best in Show” (Napa Valley Mustard Festival) as well as “Best Wine Country Experience” (Wall Street Journal).
Born and raised in Maryland, I relocated to Wine Country in winter of 1998. I have worked for a series of illustrious vineyards and wineries including Folie a Deaux, Clos Pegase, Mayo Family Winery and Arista while honing and sharpening my skills to become a master of the Wine Country culinary style. Prior to starting Premier Wine Country Catering, I worked at Michelin-rated Cook St.Helena and Russian River’s Farmhouse Inn spearheading their respective culinary teams as Chef de Cuisine and Executive Inn Chef, while simultaneously creating a name for myself amongst wine and gourmand connoisseurs. I bring my award-winning talent, hard-earned knowledge, and deft experience to all of my exclusive catering events.
I have an extensive knowledge and experience to cater events of any need whether it be a large family BBQ, corporate box lunches, or drop off caterings to a formal sit down wedding dinner. I cook global cuisine (French, Italian, American, BBQ etc.) and specialize in California Wine Country cuisine. I believe in using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients and can work with you to help you to find a menu to suit your budget. I work with some of the best micro-climate farms in the area sourcing some of the finest tasting products. Having years of honed experience makes me a top candidate for your exceptional experience. I began my career in the food and beverage industry as a waitress at the age of 18. From there I attended bartending school and after receiving my certification, went to work for a catering company as a bartender and server. Over the course of the next seven years, I further developed the skills necessary for these operations but most importantly learned how to cater to the client’s needs, adapt to any situation, and provide excellent customer service to insure that my clients had a fantastic event. From there I moved into event management, and found I had a passion for overseeing all aspects of event coordination, from site visits to rental needs, menu planning to day-of coordination and everything in between. Now an owner at Oui Cater, I am excited about helping our clients, whether they are corporate, non-profit, or private, plan their event menu, set up food tastings, and provide extended event planning as needed while staying in their budget and being mindful of their vision.
